The room was clean and had everything I needed, but the shower temperature fluctuated too much, making it difficult to enjoy. The staff's assistance with local dining options was a nice touch.

Marvellous setting, very close to Liverpool, the railway station, and down town runcorn. Nearby Barley Mow - great place to chill out. Tidy bathroom, welcoming, bright room. Bonus point for tea and coffee making facilities, multi-channel TV, and a writing table.

The location was conveniently close to public transport.

The room was big and tidy with a comfy double bed, and I enjoyed cheap drinks at the bar. There's a cozy lounge area for unwinding and a nice little garden to chill in. The only hiccup was a missing teabag in the room, but it didn't spoil my stay at all. 😊

The check-in process was efficient despite the busy atmosphere, thanks to the attentive staff. The Budget Triple Room was clean and had all the essentials, but the shower was a challenge to regulate, and the pillows were too flat for comfort. While food wasn't offered on-site, there were convenient takeaway options nearby, and staff provided plates and cutlery, a nice touch.

Request a lower floor room to avoid the many stairs and for better accessibility.

The budget double room was spacious, clean, and had a comfy double bed. The staff were friendly. It's right across the road from the canal, lovely. The bar prices were the cheapest i've seen, too! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Solo traveler looking for convenience
The place was really busy when I got there, but the lady at the front desk was quick to help me get checked in & to my room. The shower, though, had issues -- either hot or cold like I was playing a game, had to keep adjusting it, but the room was clean & had everything I needed.
Wasn't exactly cheap but for what I got, I guess it was acceptable.
